Team Options, Vesting Options & Buyouts in Online Leagues
I would really love it if OOTP could implement a setting to force X% of the AAV for buyouts on team or vesting options. It would also be great if OOTP could allow limits to IP, AB, etc for vesting options. These two areas get abused in online leagues.

I imagine they get abused in solo leagues as well - just no one around to complain about it!

Usually in the game it's pretty easy to negotiate a 0 dollar buyout, in my opinion too easy. As well as options are simple to include if you jack the price up for that year (which isn't really cheating cause he could perform real well) regardless, it is part of the game that kind of allows for a little too much wiggle room. Actually options in general are pretty easy to implement.

That's why online leagues usually have those rules. Otherwise you end up with contracts like 10M/10M/10M/50M option with $0 buyout. |
