Online league options in FHM 2?

How is the online league mode? If there is one, what is in game so far? Can exports be sent in and processed? Are league reports printed out? I have FHM 2014 but am debating picking up the new version and would really like to take advantage of some online leagues.

A few leagues just getting started. Working through some things. See the Online league section of this board to see what's out there

Online leagues in FHM 2 work the same basic way as they do in OOTP.

Exports are sent in and processed, the commish runs the sim, then a new league file is downloaded (although this has to happen externally from FHM 2, not in game like in OOTP at this time).

There are CSV reports that can be created, but these are not the same depth as OOTP league reports. However, a user is working on some new report outputs for FHM 2 (link to his thread is in the online forum).

Overall, it is basic league support in FHM 2, and it doesn't have the same bells and whistles as in OOTP 16, but we do suspect this is an area of the game that will be added to in the future.

Hopefully the ability to disable scouting for online league's will be one of the first things added. Seems like something that can really unbalance an online league. Any newly added GM to a game after the inception of the league creation gets no one scouted automatically. Work around is to just edit a GM with the new name instead of deleting and adding a new GM. I have to hope no one changes there password or else I no longer have access to that GM.

Any word on when we will be able to download an online league file from in-game?

No specific timeline on that, no. That's more a nice to have rather than a need to have at this point I think, so the latter types of things would be addressed first.

Cole, can you explain the import/export functions?
I get the import, but exporting, it seems there are two ways?
A) Manager>Create CSV Export
B) Manager>Manage Online Leagues
- Create Teamfile
- Create CSV Ouput
- Click Upload Button

Which one is the proper one to exporting league files to the commish?

Hopefully an add-on or patch can be created so that eventually online leagues have full HTML support.

Thanks Cole!

Is the functionality not already half way there with the team file upload/download?

Seems like it would be an easy add and would be more convenient for online leagues.

You can log in as any team using your commish password.

Can you make 20 Gms that are unemployed and edit them as new GMs come into the league? Do unemployed GMs have the same fog of war that new GMs have?
