An Idea: Modern 2015 "lite" quickstart
The modern game in FHM2 is HUGE. That isn't always a good thing. Compared to fictional and historical games, simming is incredibly slow due to all the secondary and tertiary leagues. Even making most leagues "generic" doesn't seem to speed up play all that much.
The way to speed up play would be to outright remove leagues from a game, but we aren't able to do this. I suggest that the developers offer us a Light or Essential Leagues only quickstart. NHL, AHL, KHL, SHL, Czech Extraliiga, Finnish elite, Slovak, German league, Swiss, ECHL and Canadian Juniors No other secondary international leagues, and no generic leagues. Also retire and remove a big chunk of the free agents in the pool. I think this would go a long way towards speeding up the game by lightening the load. |

Historical leagues slim fast. We can't delete Leagues within a League or even save a League as Template so we can load it into other Leagues like Fictional Historical or so on yet.

hmmmm... who says you have to play a quickstart?? when you play "New Game" .. you then have the options to remove leagues....
what's the beef? that you have to remove the leagues yourself??? -- isn't it better that way?? |

Since changing the interface and logic to be able to flat out eliminate leagues from a modern start game would be a lot more intensive, simply providing us with a slimmed down quickstart would probably go a long way towards eliminating the complaints about the speed of simming through games. |
