Jays Stat Bumps?

At the risk of sounding like I'm "gaming" the system: In preparing my '15 Jays replay with their Sept. Roster from day one (Stroman, Tulo, Price et al from opening day), I noticed that Kevin Pillar's rating looks somewhat low for CF, and Ryan Goins' performance this season has shown an improvement on his patience at the plate. (5 Walks last year, 35 this year).

Would it be too much to adjust their ratings, and if so, how would I go about doing it?

Just doing it for personal use, adjust away. Yeah, Goins eye should definitely improve, as should Pillar's range. If you go into commish mode you can go to each player's editor page and adjust rankings.

Now, whether you feel that's "too much", I would suggest that for every change you do to a Jays player, you pick someone else in the league who seems to have made an adjustment and "fix" them as well. I don't remember what their default ratings are, but I would suggest giving a boost to guys like Harper, Arenado, Teixeira, A-Rod, etc. If you just adjust Jays ratings up, then that's not too fair to the rest of the league, right? Although with how the Jays are hitting, I think some opposing teams feel that they may have spent too much time in the editor on their roster in real life.

Do I have to give the bumps to Yankees? Can't I just, I don't know, send a nice gift basket to Colorado?

I'll pick two guys and do a quick bump on them as well. Pillar and Goins were the ones I was looking at, so I think I'll try to find two players that I can bump up in the same departments on another team.

Yes, you have to improve the Yankees in all seriousness, what I would recommend is go into the editor, type in this year's stats, and hit "base current ratings on these stats" or whatever the button is. Also, if you're going to bump up anything on the Yankees, I'd bump up Greg Bird and Luis Severino, primarily their potential but a little bit of current too. Also, you need to downgrade Stephen Drew - how he has hit 20 HRs and hit .250 in all 3 of the leagues I have done is beyond me.
