Baseball Card Thread

I could not find any threads about baseball cards, so....I guess this should be it.

I've been chasing 2015 Topps baseball cards this year pretty hardcore. The stadium Club set contains 300 base cards. #163 is C.J. Wilson.

Am I crazy, or does that not look like CJ Wilson, like, at all on the front of the card?

Definitely him because of the tattoo, but... yeah, weird picture!

His tan game is strong in that photo!

Yeah, I guess the tat does give it away. But he looks like a Native American. Weird photo indeed, as this particular set, like most modern cards, are supposed to be action shots. Unless it is a checklist, an alternate, or a leaders card.

OK, strange thing here.

I picked up a box of random packs of baseball cards from a book store that sells repackaged cards. (There is a box they sell for about $7 by Legends LLC. Cards come in their original packages. For instance: '88 Donruss, '91 Topps, '93 Fleer, etc, etc, etc. It's pretty random what cards come in, in each box.)

Anyway, there was this package of 2006 Topps that was like tri-folded with a number of cards in each fold. (This is the ORIGINAL packaging of 2006 Topps, mind you!)

In the middle of this pack, there was a #105 Ron Darling 1989 Topps card in this package. Anyone, by any chance, know what's up with that!?

Dola, now I run across a really old 1979 Topps #69 Elliot Maddox card. In a pack that is supposed to be factory-sealed for 2006 Topps.

I mean, not that I mind or anything. This is officially the oldest card I own now. I just find it a bit strange....
