Does anyone have any logos and uniforms for a team called the Brooklyn Bombers?

Additionally I am looking for other names for MLB expansion in the Brooklyn and Baton Rouge area.

In French Baton Rouge means "Red Stick".

The Baton Rouge Red Sticks were a member of the Evangeline League, a Class D league in the 40s and 50s.

I have made a couple for the BR Red Sticks and I have several Bombers though none for Brooklyn... I would be willing to change the away on the one of the Bombers to Brooklyn if you like... PM me your email address and I will send them to ya...

txranger, if you don't mind, would you post the Baton Rouge Red Sticks logo, caps and jerseys here.

One day I may recreate the old Evangeline League with the Baton Rouge Red Sticks, Lafayette Bulls, Abbeville Athletics, Monroe Sports, Lake Charles Lakers, New Iberia Pelicans, Alexandria Aces and Thibodeaux Giants.

Mon Ami, I love the Shreveport Sports and New Orleans Pelicans, too... but they were Double A teams in the 40s... I will stick with the Class D towns.

And you can believe there will be a lot of Cajuns with unpronounceable names playing in the my Evangeline League like Hebert (pronounced "a-bear)"... Schexnayder (Sheck-snider)... Domingue (Domang)... DeBlieux (Double U)... Thibodeaux (Tib-uh-do)... Aucoin (Oh-Kwan)... Boudreaux (Boo-Dro)... and of course Robicheaux (Ro-buh-show).

In keeping with my other thread about how to easily do your own logo, caps and jerseys, here's how I used the attached logo from a brief search.

Here are the results. All were made with JustAFan's programs and show how easy it is. It took me about 15 minutes, but I do know what I'm doing.

First, the white background on the logo means a white background on the logo and jersey so you can't see the edges unless you really stare at it. I went with the Stencil font because of the military theme and I don't like the Comic Sans of the Bomber logo.

Picking the colors off the logo integrated them into the hat and jersey.

Pretty simple
