Don't know if this has been mentioned before but

I just had a double header with 1st game at team A and 2nd game at team B. Maybe two teams in the same town would be OK but mine was in Lexington and Charlotte.

My guess is that you were using the real schedules from the 1880's in a fictional league. They actually did this sort of thing. The 2 cities were usually close to each other, but OOTP does not know where the cities are and does not expect someone to be stupid enough to schedule games in 2 different cities on the same day.

Was it a rescheduled game that had been rained out? It's apparently a limitation of the rescheduling feature. If Team A @ Team B is rained out it will look to reschedule it as a doubleheader during the next available series @ Team B, but if no such series exists then it will schedule the game during a series @ Team A. To maintain the same number of home/away games you then have a day where one game is at Team A and one is at Team B.

Happens frequently in my minor leagues. Not sure why, but maybe 1 out of 4 double headers show as split between the cities. Strange, but not too consequential for me.

It was a rained out game made up later. The schedules I use are my own that I drew up. But I do have a lot of open days so why wouldn't the game drop the remake in there somewhere instead of putting it as a double header in different cities?

i doesn't really matter to me as my games are all simmed. I only found this cause I was looking at a guys game log but to some of the immersion fanatics this could be a problem.
