Rental player trades

I wish the AI would recognize players at the end of their contracts on teams not in the playoff picture more often in trades. I don't believe the computer makes enough, rarely any, "rental player" trades. I have trading set to "neutral" and most trades are younger players who still have contract control. We see plenty in real life. I myself will make the deadline deal for a rental, but the last 3 seasons in my league, hardly any from AI to AI.

I see them all of the time but I do have different trade settings than you.

For trade preference I have it at heavily favor prospects but I don't know if that has anything to do with this or not.

Last July in my EBL vs MLB league i saw more Rental player trades then ever before in any version of OOTP. The new team did resign about 25% of the players though. I would say i saw 3-4 of every 10 trades be rental trades.
