Best Hitter I've had recently
I acquired this guy before the season and was excited because he had an 80 rating for contact. and 60s mostly for everything else and never really played a full season. IDK why.. I put him at DH for my Blue Jays becase he couldn't play defense lol... but damn he produced for me! I just ended my season and idk if he will take any awards but he should. What do you guys think? and post your beasts! I love seeing the kinds of players yall have!

Top 2 performers I've seen, although Hamm used to have 19/20 in contact and power.

Crazy thing is: Hamm doesn't even have 1000 hits. He being such a star player for so long and not reaching 1000 hits surprised me.

Best Hitter Ive had recenty
Career stats right there. Yeah, he did get hurt a couple years, but he's still a monster to play a lot (I manage the Phillies. The Marlins have a 24 y/o stud too, just not as much of a HR hitter).

He is not one of my player, but he was kicking my league's ass for 20 years! Look at all his stats... Never saw a more dominant (Power production) batter
A 4th round pick by the Arizona Cooperheads and he won the championship in his first year. Unfortunately, the only one he won during his career |

Yikes, that's amazing.
Also amazing that despite those numbers, he only led the league in RBIs 3 times.

Yes, that's kind of special since he is ranked 2nd for career RBI and my league started in 2000.... So 46 seasons of history. I know I had an automatic league evolution that boosted the offense a little.
And here is the guy that lead the career RBI . Almost 26 years of MLB service time loll |

seriously, how much fun is this game!
![]() and yes, I know he is supposed to be #9 - he was, not sure why it changed.

I can't get a screenshot 'cause my game's fritzing out on me
but in one of my games, I had a 3-4 punch that competed against each other for the triple crown every year. that was always fun to watch

Definitely my best hitter. Too bad he didn't turn out to be this good in real life, although in the game it appears he has amazing years with "off" years in between.

A little different context . . . more like hottest hitter I have ever had (or even ever heard of). He may also be the best hitter eventually, but he's only 22.
May 25-June 18: 52-for-100, .520 May 25-June 23: 30-day stretch at an even .500 (61-for-122) May 25-June 13: Had at least two hits in 13 of 16 games June 6-18: Had at least three hits in 7 of 12 games

By far the best player I've had in any OOTP game. He just finished last season with the 3rd highest war in MLB history.

Jim Evans is probably the best current guy in my MLB fictional league. Right now it's 2087 and the offense has been slowly rising ever since the league was created in 2014. The American League ERA was 4.81 (!) last year with the batting average at .274.
The other two are former Oakland A's 1B that are ranked #1 and #3 in career homeruns. Oakland always seems to have a good 1B. It was great watching these guys crush pitchers. |
