4 suggestions for OOTP 17

OOTP 16 has been a fantastic game and the series has been a worthwhile purchase every year. These are some thoughts I've had while playing through it:

1.) Marketing options for the general manager. It would be fun to be able to schedule player bobblehead nights, movie themed nights, dog night, etc.. and see how this affects your attendance figures.

2.) The option to upgrade features in your stadium (new luxury boxes, more bleacher seats, new restaurants, etc...) and change the prices of food and merchandising.

3.) The ability to use alternate uniforms on gameday and designate when the team would wear them. This could also tie into the previously mentioned marketing strategies, (for example, how the Giants wear orange during Friday night home games.) The MLB license has been a welcome addition to OOTP and it would be great to access the treasure trove of uniforms the teams use.

4.) The Platinum Glove award. The Gold Glove award is one of my favorites to follow and it would be great to see who the overall best defense players in OOTP are.

I think it would be more realistic to hire a marketing manager rather than dig in the weeds setting promotions. It's also not the GM's job though. Perhaps an owner mode might be a cool game mode

This could be a new feature of owners mode.

The MLB license has been a welcome addition to OOTP and it would be great to access the treasure trove of uniforms the teams use.

While good in thought, this would increase file sizes since every uniform for every day would have to be loaded

What JP said to the rest. The Great Glove, Gold Glove is already in the game. So not sure what you are asking for on this one.

He means the award which is for the best defensively player at each position at the entire MLB, not just the AL or NL.

Close, the Platinum Glove is awarded to the best defender among the Gold Glove winners (in each league). So 18 Gold Gloves are given out and 2 Platinum Gloves among those 18.

For example, last year, Yadier Molina won in the National League and Alex Gordon won for the American League.
