OOTP5 Sound Not Working
The interface sounds aren't working on my PC at work. They worked fine at home though. Here are the system specs:
Athlon 2.17GHz 512MB RAM CMI8738 PCI Audio ATI Radeon 7500 64MB AGP Before you ask: Yes, I'm running all the latest drivers for each deivce. Yes, my volume if up. Yes, my speakers are plugged in. Yes, all of my system sounds are working fine. No, I am not having problems with sound in any other game.

No idea currently, I delete the sound files anyway.
Are "sound" options on? Any other device that uses sound turned on? I'll keep tabs on this.

They'll probably wear old on me too.

Nope, nothing running in the background either. Are you guys just using standard direct sound in DX9?
FYI: I just ran dxdiag to check my DX Sound and found no problems there either. I am quite familiar with the Windows OS as I am a software test engineer in the Windows Division at MS. I'd love to figure this one out. Any suggestions guys? |

I'm not a computer guru, however one thing I noticed is that the sounds are mp3s. In the volume control for my computer there is a wave/mp3 slider. I had to turn that up to be able to hear the sounds. Perhaps that is the case for you? Sorry if that doesn't help.
