The 2015 College Baseball season thread
I'm sure some of you guys watch the college game, considering this is a forum about the game of baseball. The season is just under two weeks away (starts Feb. 13). Lots of publications are putting their pre-season rankings and previews out. Who does everybody have going to win it all?
Personally I can't put another team over Vanderbilt at this point. They are going to have one of the most dominating weekend rotations in the history of the sport. There are five or six guys on that team that could go in the first round. The SEC as a whole is probably going to be the best conference again, LSU, Florida, South Carolina are all going to be really good, I think even Tennessee has a chance to surprise some people. So what are everybody's thoughts this pre-season? The SEC Network and SEC Network+ TV schedule looks loaded. Looking forward to seeing how many other games are on TV. |

I am excited about the upcoming season! I think the SEC will be loaded as well. Hard to look past Vandy, but Florida could be a sleeper in the East. I am a big South Carolina fan, so I'm hoping for a good season this year. We have a chance to be pretty good, but the SEC is loaded.
I also think Maryland could be a team that surprises this year. I also love the mid major teams too. Big fan of Furman and SC Upstate also. Planning on catching at least one or two games this weekend. Pretty good tournament in Spartanburg this weekend with Wofford, SC Upstate, Xavier, Army and I think Boston College. Next weekend at Fluor field in Greenville, SC (my hometown) Furman host Indiana, Xavier and Presbyterian College. Is your favorite team Uconn? I remember going to the first game of the Super Regional in Columbia against the Huskies. They were a solid team. They are going to be coming to Greenville in March. Hope to go to that one as well. Congratulations to the Virginia Cavaliers for winning it all.
First they went to California and stomped all over the west coast, then took out one SEC team after another before dominating the third-best 'V' school to win it all.
