Union League Baseball will be converting to OOTP16 at the conclusion of the 2011 Union Cup Playoffs. (Final Regular Season sim is this Sunday, 3/22, then we'll have three rounds of playoffs, which should take about a week or so.) We're entering our 17th season in 2012, and have been doing this for a long time. Please feel free to browse our site, check out the Twitter, and if interested, come join our hall.com group for a GM role and a chance to grab one of these great franchise opportunities!

Here are our open teams:

Montreal Royals - Ah, Montreal. A move North of the border may have improved this teams fortunes, but you've got Buzzy with his Kings of New York, Kevin being constantly berated by Jordan in Charlotte and Henry making the Red Sox look bad in Boston with the Colonials franchise. A lot of power all in this division. Can you be the first GM to lead this PL Eastern Division team to a Union Cup Championship?
Milwaukee Brewers - The Brewers play in the same division as the Royals, and are one of the underserved teams of the league. With the aforementioned Buzzy, Kevin and Henry all in the division, you'll have your work cut out for you getting the Brew Crew into the Union Cup Playoffs. They've been to the Playoffs just once, and like everyone except Charlotte in the PL Eastern Divison, they have no Union Cup Rings to speak of.
Green Bay Blizzard - A tough division with old school BBSCer's like Ryan Huff kicking butt with his New York Giants, Zac piloting the New Orleans Pelicans and Josh (Some of the time) running Washington into the ground again and again and league veteran Wally Tims enjoying his Rum in San Juan when he's not winning Division Titles.
Houston Apollos - A powerhouse franchise, the Apollos have to be one of my favorite franchises in the ULB in terms of looks. While Justin Olsen is on the fence, and may not continue as their GM next season. If you want a franchise that could get you into playoff contention sooner rather than later, the Apollos might be your best bet. Of course, You have Scott Jefferies in this division, and he's accumulated the most wins and playoff appearances in ULB History. Tough job, but someone has to knock him off of First Place. Oh, and there are TWO Cooans in this division with Jeremy in New Mexico and Josh in Salt Lake, not to mention Ken Mastny who continues to put together winners in LA.

Milwaukee Brewers

I very much interested to manage Milwaukee Brewers. My time zone is different from yours. Is that a big problem?

Not at all. We've had owners from the UK in the past, and managed just fine.

Interested in Montreal (I was the pre-relocation GM in Columbus from 2006-08)

EDIT: Montreal appears taken, I'd take another team if they are.

Looks like we've filled all our current vacancies at the moment. If any other teams open up, I'll be in touch and will update this thread! Thanks for reading!

Somewhat shockingly, all three prospective owners seem to have not worked out. 2 Haven't replied to messages, and 1 dropped out due to other commitments. Thus all three of GB/MON/MIL are once again open and looking to be filled like a Milwaukee Sausage.

I believe Montreal is filled, still looking for New Owners for Milwaukee and Green Bay. I've reached out to everyone who previously expressed interest. First come, first serve!

About to hit 2013 in the ULB, and we're looking to fill the Boston Colonials and the Montreal Royals.

Boston ended 2012 on top of the PL Eastern Division, and Montreal ended up in the basement. Looking for two GM's to take over these two teams and ignite a new ULB Rivalry. Our last Montreal GM didn't work out all that well, and I'm looking for guys who are willing to communicate and be active. We have a Slack group which most of our members use almost daily, and it's got a secure app for android and apple phones. If you are interested, PM me your email address and I will invite you to our group and see if we can't get you set up with one of these two franchises. Big plus if you are Canadian or an old fan of either the Expos or Montreal Royals.

Boston has been filled, leaving us with just the Montreal Royals left vacant. C'mon Canuckleheads!
