Expansion Draft

In my 3rd offseason MLB decided to add two new teams. One in Austin and one in Columbus. I sent in my protected list but the expansion draft never occurred. Now I am a week into the season and the draft still has not occurred. Each team has a full roster for the season.

In the past when they have announced that there was to be an expansion they had the draft in the same offseason. Am I missing something?

Same thing just happened to my league I am in January now, still waiting for the draft that will never come

Is there not a setting where you choose the expansion draft date?

I will start up a new game and try to find it....if I can.

Not that I know of. The message for needing an expansion draft went away sometime during the season. The other two teams had all of their mlb and minor league roster filled. So I'm just assuming it's no big deal.

I started a new game and the expansion draft went off fine. There is a box that needs to be ticked telling the game to schedule the expansion draft. This appears to be ticked by default though. Is the game filling the new teams with fictional players?

I would definitely post this as a bug if you can't find a solution.
