Position zeros out?

Players defense goes to 0... Playing Mlbm15. I've got a 41 yr old firstbaseman that started the season with ratings of 16 @ 1b and 15 @ 3b. I'm 50 games into the year and he is now a zero @ 3b. Edit page still show 200 at both first and third. I tried playing him at third still with no change in grade/rating. And his defense at first did not change any, and he has played several games at 3b but he is no longer the everyday guy. Input pls? How do I get he rating back at least above zero. I mean it's not like he's injured or anything...

Haha well he's 41 years old, not many 41 year olds are so swift in the field

I agree but only 3b declined/disappeared. Why not reduce both positions by 25% or 50%... Just sayin...

I've noticed they happens specifically for 3b. Sometimes guys drop from 40 to 0 suddenly. I never keep a 3b over 30 unless his defense is really high.
