Have anyone notice that HS players who failed to sign will not show up in the following year's draft anymore? They will show up 3 years later after staying in college. When was this patched in? I was not expecting to see this until maybe next year. Good job!

Now here's to eventually adding actual feeder leagues that run in the background (ala FM, EHM, FHM)

One question though, do all of the HS players who failed to sign show up years later? It would be cool for some to retire from baseball simulating those athletes who committed to another sport rather than signing out of high school after being drafted.

That would be awesome if it was patched in. I'll have to take a look and see if I'm experiencing the same thing you are.

Yea it seem they are made to go undrafted until their 3rd year. It notes it in the player's history.

It says "Undrafted, returned to school"

Looks like nothing has changed on my end. Take note of this pitcher who decided to play college instead of signing with the Padres. Fast forward one year and he's again eligible for the draft.

Did he choose to go to a junior college? If so, he'd be eligible in a year.

It says he went to Ole Miss.

How long ago did he get drafted? Was that a league already in progress? I think this may have been updated in the lastest patch considering that pic. I looked at the draft pool and everyone of the players who were created in past drafts that did not sign have the "undrafted returned to school" note in their history. I've simmed a few years ahead in one of my saves since updating and I noticed a few guys had a career line of...

I'm pretty sure that 2017 draft took place after the patch was installed but I'm not positive. It's possible it was before the patch. I'll sim another year and draft.

Idk its weird, now I am thinking that it may be a bug. I've seen a guy stay in college for 5 years while I've seen a player similar to the screen shot who only stayed 1 year.

Maybe mention it in the bug thread to be on the safe side. If it's indeed a bug, it's a fairly big one.
