OOTP 14 Web Cast Diagram Template
Created a Photoshop template to create your own simple ballpark/stadium diagram to use in the new OOTP 14 web cast view.
Download via DropBox here I created it in CS6, so if you have any problems, please post them here and I can convert if necessary. I think Gimp should recognize it too, not sure. Some rudimentary Photoshop skills are needed. There are a few layers/groups in the file:
1. To create your own field diagram, draw out your park's dimensions. The easiest way would be to draw a large green rectangle, rasterize the rectangle, then use the Polygon Lasso Tool to trim and delete your rectangle to your desired shape. Make sure your final shape is a solid green color. I used RGB 18,133,51 for my green. This is the root color of your grass. 2. Right-click and Copy Layer Syle on the sample field shape. Then right-click and Paste Layer Style to your new field shape (this will give it the tan and black border and add the grass texture). Delete the sample Field Shape layer now. 3. Choose a Grass Pattern to use. Double-click the "team name or logo" layer to type your own team name or to hide the text and drop in a logo. Hide the entire Grass Patterns group to use no patterns. You can mix and match different patterns to your liking. Name/Logo only, or Name/Logo with stripes, or both those with dirt! You pick. Hide and unhide layers to turn on and off. 4. Modify ALL the layer masks for the Foul Lines & Grass Patterns to your new shape. To do this, right-click each layer mask and Delete it. Then Add Layer Mask back to each of the same layers. CTRL-left-click your new shape's layer icon to create a new active mask in the shape of your new field. SHIFT-CTRL-I to reverse your active mask, then select each new layer mask you replaced and press delete on the keyboard (this trims the Foul Lines & Grass Patterns to your new shape). 5. IMPORTANT - change the image size to 72 dpi and 600x600 size. I created the template in 300 dpi for quality. After reducing to 72 dpi and resizing to 600x600, save as a .png file with your own file name. 6. Copy/save the file to where you want to store it, open OOTP 14, then edit your stadium. Under Pictures & Coordinates look for "Diagram Picture" and click on the ... button to it's right - find your .png file. done! If ppl are unsure how to use layer mask, I can post a quick image tutorial here if needed.
