Spring Training confusion

I'm the Mets in Phil Orr's FBBL (www.fbbl.net), and we recently completed spring training for our league. One of my players, David Segrest appears to have somehow "skipped" spring training. I switched his role from closer to starter and also pumped at least 8 points into improving his duration. However, on the player development page, his name does not appear. Also, he's still listed as a closer on my team. I know my file was put into the game because all the other players went through just fine. I'm wondering if there was some kind of glitch that could have caused this.

Are you saying that you editted him? The team export will not "import" if changes have been made. Also, "one player" can't skip spring training.

In addition, not every player will "appear" on the Development report. Some players don't change enough to warrant any notes about them.

I had trained him to be a starter in last year's spring training, so he has a duration of E as a starter. I switched his role from closer to starter this spring, and he's still listed as a closer, which makes me wonder if something went wrong. I realize that not everyone goes through the spring with changes, but when I saw his role remain the same, I was a little confused.
