Signing FA's

I have a team that finished with a poor record. Had plenty of budget room, and no prospects are ready, so I went after FA's. Nobody wanted to sign with my team.

I know that over time, they soften, but is initial rejection only due to poor record, or do other things like Market Size (Mine was above average) Fan Loyalty and Fan Appreciation (or whatever it's called) factor into it as well?

Offering more money helps

You also have to look at their personality ratings and decide if they would "fit" your team.

Too, if you wait until just before the season starts, you might land a few you really want.

There is a glitch in the current version that causes rebuilding teams to be unable to sign FAs. It will be fixed in the next patch.

Meanwhile, a workaround is to go into Commish mode and change all rebuilding to neutral.
