Returning to ootp very soon, quick question

Hey everyone, long time no see!

Real life threw me a wicked curve yet again last season, but hopefully I will be good to get through an entire season this year.

As many of you know, I do a ton of custom leagues and quickstarts for the game, and put them for download when I can. I'm wondering, since I really haven't been around to see and hear all about the new features, if I am going to want to build new leagues to take advantage or would importing to 16 work just fine?

I know last year I ran into problems with both associations and with international leagues being added to custom setups.

Just wondering the biggest issues I might run into so far, especially with making quickstarts for public consumption.

Welcome back! Good to see you again. I hope real life is under control for a while.

IMO you will want to start new leagues to become immersed in the GM vs. MGR vs. GM/MGR roles. Playing as GM only is a different experience now, especially if you delegate functions to the assistant GM. If you have an independent manager, you will have little or no control over lineups, strategies, etc.

I have also found that the personalities / morale functions are ramped up and have more impact on roster construction than before. Your existing team chemistry might not work in the new version, and you may have committed to long-term contracts that you would not have done with more emphasis on locker room harmony.

Sounds good, but yes, it does sound like I'll be better served by creating a brand new setup.

I had to have a surgery I hadn't been expecting to have but nothing serious just rehab time and such.

Thanks a lot, and I'll be hoping to see a new story from you when I make my way over there. I read the end of the story while I was rehabbing so here's hoping.
