Development of rivalries

Even though this isn't a big part missing, it's one other small thing that could add even more realism - rivalries.
MLB rivalries - Dodgers/Giants, Cubs/Cardinals, Red Sox/Yankees...these are just some of the rivalries.
Related but just so - the team vs team records (year by year) should be stored somewhere in the all-time records.
A user (or the game) could define, up to (let's say 5) teams that are rivals. In those games - higher attendance, (more chances of brawls?) - whatever else could be added to higher-pressure games.
