Guide For Fictional League + Real Players

I will try to do my best to guide you through to set up a fictional league with real players. I will start in 1901 when my team the White Sox come into the league.
1. Start a historical league with you desired season. ( for my example I will not import history)

2. Go to League Settings - Global settings - Add New League - Fictional
I am not using any minor leagues since there will not be enough players to completely fill up AAA.

3. Go to fictional League - team by team and mass delete all players and coaches. Team page - Players - List all players in organization . click the bubble to highlight all players - right click - delete. Go To League settings - Release All Coaches & Scouts if desired. There are alot of them so I will not delete them, normally i would.

4. Go to historical MLB - League settings - Delete This League. Might want to make a backup prior to this in case there are errors.

5. Now that the fictional league is all that os left go to League sEttings - Schedule fantasy draft or let the AI sign who they want or manually assign players to teams.

5a. Just realized after I had ran the inaugural draft that the settings were for modern vs 1901 despite the fact I set it up as 1901 so go To league settings and set up the finances and stats for your desired season before running your draft.

6. Go To league settings - Options - Turn off Automatic evolution if desired. Click the ones in the screenshot.
Copy you stats line header using ctrl-C mine looks like this C:\Users\Todd\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 16\stats
and paste it into the database path line using ctrl-v

7. Set up any other options for your league
This will also work for Random Debut at this point. and should from step 1 if you want to use RD instead.

8. Go to League settings - Rules and change the draft date to November 10th ( i am using the 10th as a random date) and the rounds to 15 this insures that all incoming historical rookies will be drafted. can edit this down if desired there should not be more then 5-8 rounds worth of players but i am playing it safe.

Forgot to delete any fictional league FA's so some were drafted. Also check your schedule and make sure you have one as my league does not. So no games were played in 1901.
Ok well i messed up somewhere because no players showed up for 1901 November draft. Sucks trying to do this quickly.

1902 is running smoothly. 1902 draft looks good.

So that gives you an idea of how to set it up and what to look for to make sure it runs smoothly. Hopefully someone else will make their own guide and avoid my mistakes.
