Historical Coach Profiles

Has anyone ever compiled any date for historical players that they can use for editing coaches? Is there anything anywhere that would show what the roster strategy would be for Sparky Anderson or Tony LaRussa, etc?

Also, by default when creating a historical, are the imported managers set with a realistic profile or is it just random? How do those of you that play historical leagues handle coach profiles? Does it make a huge difference? Do you just concern yourself with the names vs actual styles?

I'm sure a few years ago someone put together a spreadsheet with the strategies. There is a book on Amazon download by Bill James that has this info from 1870 up to the 90s which is excellent for the information you need.

Yeah I picked up the digital version of Chris Jaffe's book last night. I wonder if Bill's would have anything it does not...
