So long, old friend

OOTP4, it's been good. But it's time for me to move on buddy.

Take care.

My league is too stubborn. I tried to tell them OOTP5 will be the perfect game with no flaws, but they wouldn't listen.. we'll be waiting til 2008.

Just kiddin', JBLers! You know your commish is the biggest fanboy of them all!

as a non-beta tester,
I'm curious to see if there are any issues with league conversions.

weren't there some financial glitches in the conversion from 3 to 4?

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

I think my league will be the first to actually SIM with V5. Monday @ 3:30 EST. We'll be close to first, anyway.

We'll be switching right before the 2004 season...we're in the 2003 ABLCS right now. I think it's fate.

Peace
John

When I converted my OOPT 3 league into v4, every teams cash was set back to the where it starts when you start a league. (10 million? I think)

I also think the fan interest and market size stuff was affected, can't remember on that one, but the money I'm positive on. It cost me over 100 millions dollars.

Same here, actually.

Oddly enough, I saw the original STB in a mall a few days ago, for $1.99. I wanted to pick it up, but my wallet was with my fiancee (no pockets). I went to go find her, and forgot about it until now. Bah.
