Unsigned drafted high schoolers
I just finished the draft and I have a few high schoolers that wont sign. It says that they want to continue their education, and will re-enter the draft next year. Is that a programming error? Or is it just something too hard to program into the game? I know it is nitpicking, but would be cool for it to be accurate like real life.

They do go back to school and will come back into the draft when they are eligible.

Ya, I know in real life once high school decides to go to college, he is not eligible until after the 3rd year. But in the game, it just made it sound like he will re-enter the draft next year, since those are the words it said.

I think....I am currently playing 19th century ball and haven't had an amateur draft in a while..... |

Unsigned drafted high schoolers
Yea I hope it gets fixed for nitpicking reason but also 9 out of 10 times those same players come back the next year with much lower bonuses (if any) so it kills the immersion even more so I just started manually retiring those players and unretiring some of them 3-4 years later.

I've mentioned this before but I would also like to see what college the player will attend if they go unsigned, being able to see on their draft profile. What do others think of that?

It's just a matter of getting it added into the editor at some point in the not too distant future. |

Maybe in a Patch. Own the Rights to a Draft Pick.

Not even sometimes, it's most of the time.
However, I do like the fact that many of these guys choose to stay close to home. For example I had an unsigned high schooler from Miami who went to FAU. Once in a while it's OK, but I would hate to constantly see North Dakota high schoolers end up at San Diego State or something like that. |
