Expansion season
I would like to start a franchise with the Colt .45's as an expansion team, and I would like to be the one to make all of the hirings and expansion draft decisions. How do I set that up? Is it possible?
Also, what do I need to set for the minor leagues to grow as they historically grew? Will the league automatically add new minor leagues over the years? |

Start a historical game in 1961 and then take over Houston before the expansion draft.
The game will not add or subtract minor leagues, but it will add teams when MLB expands. |

The Colt 45 team started in 1962 so you'll want start an Historical league in 1961. Minor leagues will not be added automatically I recommend starting with minors upon creation and either using ghost players or full minor leagues with fictional players who can't reach the Major Leagues. The Colt 45 franchise will appear after the 1961 playoffs when you get to off season starts, the expansion draft will be the next day. So you need to take e control of the franchise immediately, the team will already have personnel assigned to them, the only way to fill them with your own people is to fire them.
There will be a shortage of players so one minor league is all it will take at the start, the expansion draft is 35 rounds by default. All Franchises will have between 30-40 players in them so you'll be on par with the league. Hopefully some more experienced guys will chime in here with more info and/or better ideas. But that's a start, hope it helps

I started it and saw that the personnel decisions were mostly done already. I will not fire them until they give me a reason to.
