OOTP Classic Skin Files

I am wondering if there is a primer on how to install the classic skin files that are part off the add-ons. When I download them, it says they are installed, but I can't seem to find the files. Also where is the skin.bin.file that must be supposedly deleted? Thanks in advance.

the skin bin is in the OOTP16\data\skins\ootp16 classic folder

Once you download, and install, you then have to select the classic skin from your game settings menu.

After you've changed the setting, quit and start the game again.

You do not need to delete the skin.bin file unless you've made changes to the skin, ie new graphics.

There's something else, too. Look through this thread and see where some of us needed to start OOTP 16 as the administrator in order for this to work:

You do not need to download the files; the Classic skin is already included in the game. Those files are only useful for people who want to modify it for themselves.
