Opinion, Please, on Offense

After 1111 hours with this game, I still have a lot to learn.

In my six team fictitious league, I have the following numbers for average HR per game, average R per game, and batting average. This is the average for the past three seasons, but they are not aberrations.

R-- --1.06, 5.34, .259
SA- -0.85, 4.66, .253
A---- 1.14, 5.34, .273
AA- -1.08, 5.88, .286
AAA-1.36, 6.13, .291
ML---1.00, 4.21, .248

As seen, AAA is quite the hitters league, while SA is a pitchers league.

The size of the parks is random.

Question; is this normal? If it isn't, would adjusting the size of the parks help to make the leagues a little more uniform. (Move the fences out for AAA, in for SA.)

It's kind of depressing to see the ERA leader in AAA at 4.10.

Thanks, guys, for your expert opinions!

Look at league totals and modifiers. A number and or a decimal place may have changed.

Pure speculation here but a six team league would be sensitive to player creation and development variables. Do you have a glut of good hitters at AAA and AA? Is it possible that hitters are ready before pitchers and the pitchers catch up and pass them in the majors.

Having said that a 4.21 ERA seems high for a 0.248 BA . Check double play rates.

The stats are very consistent for the last 15 years. I'd rather move the fences than mess with the modifiers. (That's how it COULD be done in the real majors, although I guess it could be said that changing the modifiers is another way of lowering/raising the mound and/or altering the strike zone.
