Are Associations broken in 15?

I ask this question out of curiosity, based on my personal dynasty.

I imported a game template from 14 to 15 that had a pre-configured association. The leagues within the association work perfectly fine, they all go into the Association playoffs as well, and everything is smooth.

However, when creating an Association in 15, it meses up all the leagues involved. I attempted to create the Asia Series, and it caused two leagues not to have their post-season series (Taiwan, Philippines), and the other three not to go into Offseason Mode. I also created the Caribbean Series and a fictional Australian Cup. These leagues did the same thing: did not advance into Offseason.

When the leagues don't advance, they hang in that mode. You have to manually force the league into offseason through the League Events menu. I also noticed that if I created a replacement Association and added these leagues, it did the same exact thing again.

Not knowing anything about your setup, I'll just throw this out there -

Are you trying to run association play-offs before some of the leagues have finished their season/play-offs?

I know that some leagues finish their playoffs before others but it seems the two I mentioned didn't even start their own playoffs, let alone the Asia Series never started. It has done this with all Associations created in 15. The only one that works is the European group, which starts after the final leagues playoff is over.

Teams cannot play in the Association Playoffs until their own league season and playoffs are finished.

Else how would they send a team when they don't have a Champion yet?

Check your schedules - Association playoffs should not start until all teams/leagues have finished their respective season/playoffs.

If the date for your Association playoffs is set to start before even one of the other leagues has finished their season, then that's most likely your problem.

Can you post a list of all your leagues?

Also a list of the start and finish dates for their seasons and playoffs.

Lastly, what date are the Association playoffs set to start?

I'm gonna answer these as much as I can.

This part I'm well aware of. Maybe I wasn't clear; I know the Association playoffs begin after all leagues within the association crown a league champion. This means if 20 leagues end in July and four end in August, the association playoffs begin after the last LEAGUE CHAMPION is crowned.

I am also well aware of this.

Since when can you set a date for your Association to begin its playoff? This wasn't in 14. The association playoffs began in 14 when the last league playoff ended.

As I said, how do you set the date of the Association playoffs?

Example: European Cup has 25 leagues with ending dates ranging from July to late September. When the 25th and final league champion is crowned, the association playoffs begin!

The Serie del Caribe and Asia Series never started after the 7th and 4th respectively, league champions were crowned.

The problem has to be somewhere in the leagues that aren't finishing their season/playoffs.

Did you at any point alter the structure of either of those leagues? Move teams to different divisions or subleague?

Well, it's really difficult to say what could be the problem without seeing the full setup and looking around.

In these leagues that won't finish, are you able to manually edit the schedule to add playoff games and sim ahead?

What is the schedule length? When you look at individual team schedules, do they show as having been completed?
