A question for the experts

Whenever I create a league with unique settings I backup the file BEFORE I do anything else with the game.

That means no action at all has taken place in this league.

I then store away that backup in case I want to get back to Day 1 some day.

The question is:

When I backup a league I created in OOTP15 and I then import it into OOTP16 ... will this league use all new features from OOTP16 ??

Or will it continue to be an OOTP15 league and I would to need start a new league to have OOTP16 features in it ?

Thanks in advance for any insights on that !

New features will be applied from that point forward (when imported)

They are not backwards compatible though, so won't affect anything that happened prior to conversion.
