Hello to everybody

Hello everybody on the OOTP forums!

I just wanted to introduce myself and say that I just got OOTP 15 a few weeks ago and I've loved it so far!

Seriously, my whole life I've been playing MLB the Show and MVP on PlayStation and I'm always simming the games instead of playing the games. I love to see how certain players develop here and there. I also love coming up with my own fictional leagues with a certain format and structure to it.

And when I found out that this game can do exactly what I'e always wanted to do, I immediately brought it. The game is MUCH deeper than I thought, wow. I'm really overwhelmed by the options the game has.

Just thought I'd let you know who I am and say that I'm excited to spend some time around these forums, learning as much as I can about the game.

I probably wouldn't post much (I'm more of a lurker), but I'll probably post lots of questions over the next few days, lol.

EDIT:

One more thought(s), I thought I'd share my fictional league ideas with you and maybe you can help me come up with a system on how I could create it in OOTP. I'm still a total n00b at the game, lol.

- A 48-team high school league based in Iowa using real high schools in the state's 4A class (largest class). There will also be a 48-team playoff system. Yes, every school get a shot at the state championship, lol.

- A 20-team league based on my fantasy league in real life with my friends completed with a FULL minor-league system (Approximately 140 teams across 7 levels).

- A Solar League Baseball concept. The league would start out in like 2100 with 4 teams on Earth, the Moon, Mars and Venus. Over time I'd expand it up to 20 teams with various teams on different planets and moons throughout the solar system. Then in maybe 2200 I can start adding "fictional" planets that's outside of the solar system to the league (cuz, warp drives, lol). I'd like to try to "limit" the players to his home planets so it could be something like nation vs. nation competition.

Well, you certainly don't lack ambition

Be sure to check out the mods forums for uniforms, logos, schedules, and names that you can use for your leagues.
