Is It Actually Possible to Remove the DH?

I tried to "Remove Designated Hitter" in a game where I was managing a college team, and the program refused to cooperate. Did I miss a step in the process, or is there a bug?

You can go to league settings and uncheck it.

But I don't want to eliminate the designated hitter as an option. I just wanted my pitcher (who hits well - it was college level) to bat in this particular game.

You'll have to go into commish mode to do that

I think you could put your catcher at DH, yesterdays starting pitcher at catcher and your pitcher as pitcher. Then move the DH to catcher, the fake catching starting pitcher gets removed and the real pitcher should bat in the spot of the fake catcher.
(should work with other position players as well).

It'll just force you to use a new DH unless that old bug has finally been destroyed. I haven't tried in a long, long, looooong time so maybe it has.

Note to self: Princess Kenny was really off-putting.

I quite often used my DH in the field in done games, so he can play some innings in defense.
