OOTP 5 Quick Questions?

1. Is there going to be an easier way to create an expansion team

2. Is there a 40man roster during the season so if i player gets dropped he goes threw waivers

3. If a player gets dropped three time to the minors will he become an automatic FA.

4. Will the allstar game have a player from everyteam on it.

5. Will the all star game be stopped after 13 innings.

6. Will the minor leagues be able to hold a 25+ man roster and still play most players

7. Will some big name players be traded for some big prospects and then maybe be traded away for two guys that blow (Bartolo Colon deal)

8. Will the players in the draft have to be signed to a minor league deal and if they dont they go to an "indepent" league and wait a year to go in the draft.

9. Will the team have to pay for scouts "scouting" players

lol. Creating expansion teams isn't hard. You can actually have expansion draft in a way. Just takes a lot of extra work. And if you want to take your work farther you can edit all the players player news to say Selected by DC in 2016 in the Expansion Draft. That would take a lot of extra work, but its an option.

That's not exactly how "options" work. A player comes into the majors for the first time with 3 "options". At any point, during any season, that player may be sent down to the minors. That counts as 1 option being used. He may then be called up and sent down any number of times during that same season and it will still only count as 1 option. Once said player is sent down to the minors in 3 seperate seasons, he then must pass thru waivers to be reassigned to the minors.

OOTP5, so it sounds, does not follow that exactly, but it definitely is a good move, the way they are doing it!

It's not meant to mirror the ML rules, but as many other parts of the game to add depth and challenge.
