National Association Free Agency

I am starting a sim from 1871 with fictional players. The National Association did not allow a contract to be more than one year. After which a player could jump to another team. I have my league set up. All of the players are free agents. How do I set up the financials so the teams have to fill their rosters by signing all free agents each year?

In the financials section, you can limit contract length to 1 year, and also tell it that contract extensions are not allowed.

When I did something similar, I set it to 1 year only, but allowed 1-year extensions.

I have it set that way. I was just wondering if there was anything else I needed to do.
