Retiring Numbers

Will teams that you don't manage retire numbers also, for example in a modern day game would the Yankees retire #2 for Jeter or would you have to manually do that assuming you don't manage them.

I hope that makes sense

Yes they will but that's only if a player played several years and accomplish a lot with that one team will the AI retire number. The AI may also retire a number for your own team if it think the player was worthy.
