I'm trying to email ootp Simulation results to my league members. What steps do I need to take to do that?

If you figured this out post here please. I spent an hour or two over the last week trying to get this to work and I can't.

the thing is your outgoing server setting have to be set up properly, I had to use smtp settings for it to work, but that depends on whatever service you are using.
I'm not sure gmail or whatever would work. I host my own email addy and it works just fine.

after a bit of digging it looks like gmail also uses TLS & ootp doesn't seem have that option (you can try port 587, but I doubt it will work).
at this point it's all I can think of. if you want send me a PM and i'll make you an email address form my leagues server and we can test it.

I just set one up quite easily after reading that you can do this with Gmail's SMTP server from Adfrabe above.
I created a Gmail account and set it up to automatically forward all emails to my primary email address, so it is just like using my primary one. Here is what the settings look like: ![]() And here is instructions on how to setup email forwarding if you don't want to check your gmail account. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/10957?hl=en |
