I created Rocco Baldelli. This is what his scouting report says, "Rocco has average speed, but he can steal a few bases. Rocco" Is something wrong here that i should know about??

His speed running the basepaths is probably a C (average) but his steal rating is likely a B (above average). Combined they mean he will be an adequate basestealer.

I think what he means is why does the next sentence start with his name....and then nothing else. I also wondered about incomplete sentences before.

Oh haha.. At first I thought that is what you meant but I decided to go at the other angle anyway. Never seen that.

Perhaps it is a harbinger of things to come. He is going to become so good and so famous, much like Pedro, Ichiro, Barry, and Sammy, he will be known by just his first name?
Rocco.

Have you ever asked anyone on the street who Markus is? I've asked about 37 people I think and they all said the same thing.
"Ain't he the OPP guy or something?" |

Wow, and this coming from a cow town like Indianapolis. Just think if you asked that in a real city.

Im down w/ OPP, yea u know me. I dont know what OPP is, but im sure im down w/ it. I was watching VH1 a couple of nights ago and they said everybody knows what OPP is, apparently not everybody. Something to do w/ a sexual manner im sure of. Anybody care to explain? The new, official slogan for OOTP5 should be "Im down w/ OOTP, yea you know me." Kind of Korny, but it has a ring to it!

I've seen this a few times myself, mostly with players I've created. Anybody know of a way to edit the scouting report?

Perhaps you're misinterpreting it.
Suppose, for example, that the scouting report has been written by Rocco himself, and Rocco's verbal/grammar skills are rather poor. I think that it would then make sense. "Rocco has average speed, but he can steal a few bases. -Rocco" See what I mean? "Rocco like steal! Oog."

Maybe it's like the old Toni Basil song, "Hey Mickey". You know, name at the start and end of a sentence.

editing
I think you can edit the scouting text, but I’m not sure; I just think I saw that stuff somewhere in a file.
It needs to be edited; the grammar of those sentences is rough. I don’t know if any of the beta testers are pointing it out, but that writing should all be revised, as much as possible. |

OPP = Other People's Property
Now what I don't know is if that means you're down with stealing, adultering or what I have no clue. I guess you would have to listen to the song to find out. |

For some reason, when I read the posted scouting report, I started laughing. There's something funny about a scouting report that just gives a random bit of info about a guy in an area where he isn't even impressive, then repeats just his first name.
