Pitching Dominance

Started a 2014 fantasy draft game with the Padres, took Jose Fernandez with the 3rd overall pick in the draft.

I've been playing the game for lord knows how long, and I've never seen a run of dominance like this in my life. We are nearing the end of the season, and it feels like half of my team is on the DL. We were 25 games over .500 and are now fighting for playoff life.

Since July, Fernandez is 10-0 with 117.2 innings pitched, 7 runs allowed, 56 hits allowed and 166 strikeouts. That turns into an ERA of 0.53 over his last 16 starts. The only game he allowed 2 runs was in Coors.

The best game was that 1-0 performance you see recently. As I mentioned half my offense is basically on the DL, and we were riding a 6 game losing streak to fall out of first in the West. We won 1-0, and the only run was scored on his 8th inning home run.
