Craziest Trades
What are some of the weirdest trades you have seen to AI controlled teams make? The Yankees just completed a blockbuster by trading Eduardo Nunez for Yoenis Cespedes

The AI can get into a 'dump high-ish money contracts' mode after the first couple months, and do some odd trades like that. It happens.

I saw Mariano Rivera traded five times in his last two seasons.

Thinking about Cespedes... the AI offered me a deal for Cespedes recently (first year of playing a season), a fair offer, but I really didn't need him so I sat on the deal for a couple days, mulling it over. After 2 days, Cespedes got hurt and was out for the year. |

Historical league, but in his rookie season, the Yankees traded Lou Gehrig to the St Louis Browns for Marty McManus. The Browns still sucked anyway, but I wept sweet tears of joy. The Yankees did still win the World Series in 1927 with McManus, and Gehrig won 3 MVPs while playing on a horrible St Louis team. The Browns never had a .500 record from 1923-1939 (Gehrig's career), and had 13 100+ loss seasons, including 6 seasons in a row with a sub-.200 winning percentage.
