Feeder/PCM Question
I've ran a couple of tests this weekend involving feeder leagues and i keep coming up with the same problem. League batting averages are too high. Now i'm not one who usually is a stickler about these things but looking into the league index after a sim both leagues are batting around .275 give or take a couple of points. When i go look at individual team batting averages for a year i routinely see at least two teams batting north of .290 and a bunch of .280's. I'm all for offense but this is too much right?
Here's my setup. MLB-style/fictional player league, Aging Modifier for Batters either default or .950, Aging Modifier for Pitchers either default or .925. Everything else default. I've tried the default automatic setup for feeders which has 200+ high schools and only like 56 college teams. I've also tried a feeder setup of about 120 high schools and 100 or so colleges. So my question is what do i need to tinker with..Development Modifier? Stat Modifier? PCM's? Any advice is welcomed. |

Hmm, I follow Florida State Univ. baseball and they've had TEAM batting avgs up around .305 in the ACC for a whole season. This year, Delaware St. led the nation batting .331 and 14 other colleges batted over .300. Portland brought up the rear with a team BA of .218. The median of all 296 D1 colleges looks to be .270.

No, no i meant my MLB batting averages were too high and i thought feeder pcm's might have been the problem but i ended up tinkering with league totals and modifiers and got it under control.
