Why is my minor league SP getting 71 starts?

I posted the other day about how bad my farm system was, record wise, and since then I've followed my players, especially pitchers more closely. In AA, I have three players in a five man rotation. The other two are "ghost" players of course. I have it set up as a five man rotation, with strict order. The first two starters have 25 & 27 starts respectively, but my third starter, and best prospect has 71 starts? This has also happen at the rookie level for one of my starters as well? I think I have everything set up properly, but maybe not, and could use some suggestions.

*I also just noticed that my middle reliever in AA ball has been called into 133 of the 134 games they've played?

I'm playing stats only, and I'm taking my time with the game, as I would like to see how my draft picks progress through the years. But with things like this happening, I'm wondering the effect it will have on one of my better prospects. Thanks!

What year is it or did you set a era to be played in? Most common pre-1900 leagues, guys pitched everyday and sometimes twice a day.

I t sounds like you may not have ghost players actually turned on.

I'm actually in the modern era, 2015.

I poked around a bit, but where do I go to check if ghost players have been enabled? Thanks again for your help!

Ghost players can be enabled (or checked, in your case) under (Your League) >> League Settings >> Rules. On the left side under Minor League Settings, the third line down is a check box for Allow incomplete minor league rosters.

I will also mention that it might be worthwhile to look at the specific minor league team he plays on to see if you have 7-Day lineups enabled. I once set a pitcher up in the 7 day lineup to start both Monday and Friday and then forgot about it, which caused the team to start him EVERY Monday and Friday, no matter how tired he was.

It's available after a game is created. Just checked and it is there and you do not even have to be in Commissioner Mode to see it.
