*Note* The numbers below are the potential numbers, not the overall. Overall numbers will be used for active roster players.
Minor League Overview: We only have a few major prospects, and the rest are standard minor leaguers. Pitchers: S M C Stam H CL Dave Moore, 22: 19/18/12 13 10 Not that good now, but will be a serious groundball pitcher. Has some nice velocity on his sinker, and could make an appearance midway into the season. MR Will Patterson, 21: 12/13/12 15 5 Average pitcher, and your standard reliever. Could eventually start if all goes well. Position Players: C G P E K D S C Pablo Medina, 25: 9/8/14/14/8 11 4 An older prospect, but none the less he is 4 1/2 star potential, and a future starter. C Curt Glenn, 21: 9/11/9/12/9 10 1 If Medina doesn't work out, Glenn is another option. He also bats lefty, so another decent prospect in him. 2B Jimmy Harris, 21: 8/12/5/7/11 20 19 Lightning fast, and plays gold glove-like at second and short. That's really it besides Joe Barnes, a 1 1/2 star potential reliever. Not one of these players cracked the top 10 prospect list. Last edited by xepicx2729; 09-02-2014 at 07:54 PM. Maybe either post screenshots of what you are talking about or write actual articles on players. I'm not very inclined to read through a mass of unformatted stats.

The batting stats and potential of our #1 prospect. I have one slight issue, and that is that he is 25, and still has not developed.

Starting Rotation:
Our starting rotation has a lot of strength, but looking at other rosters, we aren't the best. 1. Diego Padilla, 27 Diego has some nice velocity on his sinker, and a few other good pitches as well. Our league (East) has a DH, while the other league (West), doesn't, so batting doesn't matter to me. 2. Tom Johnson, 37 Johnson is 37, but starts and has a velocity of 98 MPH. 98?!?!? To me, a 37 y/o who starts or throws 98 is impressive. He has decent stamina too, and his fastball is a 19/20. 3. Valentín Silva, 28 Silva is a good 4 or 5 starter, but 3 is a stretch. 89 MPH is low to me(anything less than 92 i'm not too pleased), but he has control and movement. 4. Angel Saldaña, 28 Angel has a lot of control, especially for someone who can throw a screwball. Movement is also a strongsuit for him. His stuff rating is low, and I am not glad. 5. Kevin Whaley, 21 Whaley is young, but shows some potential. He will turn into 4 stars, if all goes as planned. A good 5th starter. |

Bullpen:
Weaker bullpen then I'd like, but I hope the rotation is strong enough so that the pen doesn't have a ton of uses. Middle Relievers: 1. Dan Lilly, 33 Stuff is severely low, but control is good. Movement is decent, but the stuff is killing me. 2. Sancho Díaz, 27 Throws the ball in a straight line (6 movement), but his stuff is good. Throws a nice curveball. 3. Shimpei Imai, 22 Stuff rating is making me want to throw myself off a bridge, but that'll hugely improve from 4 to 17, and his control is just as good. Movement will be high as well. 4. Gustavo Pérez, 37 The other veteran in our pitching staff, he is a well rounded pitcher, and I'd like to keep it that way. Set-Up Men 1. Juan Carrasco, 28 Has some good control, and movement was above average too. Good set-up. 2. Troy Murphy, 25 Amazing groundball pitcher, and he has a nasty slider to go with his sinker. 5 star potential. Closer: 1. Craig Schmidt, 30 Outstanding pitcher, and his curve is insane. Great closer! |

Position Players: Always get veterans...
![]() Catchers: C Bill Werner, 26 Soon enough, he'll be sent down for Medina or Glenn, and not really my favorite type of player. C Héctor Hernández, 26 Already a good starter, he could be sent down for Medina and Glenn, but for now, he'll start. Corner Infielders: 1B Mike Palmer, 31 Average player, but a good starter. Rare occurance of a first basemen who doesn't strike out a lot. 3B Pedro Quintero, 33 Good defense, and a decent hitter. Slow, but has some pop. Middle Infielders: 2B José Reyes, 34 Slow, but strikeouts are barely known to him. Good defense at 3rd as well as 2nd and short. SS Eric Combs, 31 Will most likely strike out a lot, and isn't that great of a player anyway. SS Juan Herrera, 29 Will not hit home runs no matter what, but a decent player otherwise. Outfield: LF Duane McMahon, 27 So slow, but has some pop. LF Wayne Scott, 27 Might get sent down, depends on his performance. CF Javier Montáñez, 36 Slow, but makes up for is with his cannon arm. Average hitter. CF Gary Huber, 26 No idea how this guy made the roster, but he does have potential. Thank God. CF José Colón, 24 Decent hitter, one of the fastest on our team (15 speed) RF Manny Gonzáles, 30 Hits bombs in the upper deck, but slow. He hits well enough for me not to care.
