No Divisions?

Can you have just an American League and a national league, but NO divisions?

League Structure Page. Move all teams to one division ,then delete other divisions with no teams afterwards,

Yes and No.

Yes you can...technically. But the division is still there as far as OOTP is concerned.

lol.

When the season ends of my league of different year teams, I only want the top two teams from each League (american and national) to make the playoffs. If I had divisions in each league, theoretically, the top two teams that go to the playoffs may not be the BEST two teams of my league, if you follow me.

If I don't have divisions, then this eliminates this, for the best two teams record-wise in the league go to the dance.

Keep in mind I am doing a league of all time great teams.

Since nobody mentioned it

WARNING - Anytime you edit your league structure be sure to generate/load a new schedule. Otherwise you'll run into problems once the season starts and it's a PITA to fix.

At set up, would I make a major league, historical, or fictional league to play a season of teams from different years?
