random question about story lines

Looking around this forum, I see people post about how they like,dislike,etc certain story lines, but for some reason I've RARELY seen any of these story lines in my game, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong... what do you have to do in order to see these story lines? Do you have to check the act as gm box or what?

There's an option in Game Settings->Global Settings on the right hand side when you can toggle the "Enable Storylines" checkbox. Hope this helps!

I have Storylines enabled and still rarely see them, because I play out all of my team's games instead of simming whole seasons in a day. Your rate of play will impact how frequently you notice them even when they are enabled.
