NARBL - 12 Season Old Fictional League Opening

We are entering the 2024 season. We have one urrent opening, and have had just two openings the last two years.

We have a tremendous ownership group, a great website and a great league idea. We also have some very good writing on the league's front page.

This is an associated league based on the idea that the south won the civil war. The Union League is a capped league, there is revenue sharing etc (trying to create parity). The Confederate League is an uncapped league with no revenue sharing. The focus here is on building your franchise through having a strong market.

Therefore we are looking for...............

1. Serious inquiries only. Almost every team is very active, and openings are rare. If you are in seven other leagues this league likely isnt for you. The dedicated teams win over the long haul. If you are willing to put in the time this league is for you.

2. Someone who enjoys the social aspect of online leagues. More than half of our owners are on the forum every day, we have many good discussions that occur on our league chat. Its fun, and it should be. If this appeals to you, then this is the league for you.

3. Someone who is willing to put in the time to BUILD a franchise. We have a deep minor league system, with six levels of minors. This takes time to manage this many minor league teams properly. The teams who develop their prospects win.

4. Of course those with a well reasoned response will get first consideration.

Our current opening is the Los Angeles Lions. They made a push for the playoffs last season. This team hasn't really had alot of direction over the years. They are led by two great young pitchers in Luke Darling and Kasey Bratcher. Young shortstop Quinn Saylor is primed for a breakout season. Second baseman Colton Forseth should provide the power. Dominant closer Chance Pendleton had 42 saves last season.

Needless to say this is a team with some pieces to build around. They just need some direction to lead them to the playoffs.

Los Angeles is still open

One of our owners has ongoing computer issues that he will not be able to get resolved soon; therefore the Birmingham Vulcans are open.

Birmingham is a budding young team. They made the playoffs two seasons ago behind the power of ROY and MVP Jax Moultrie They also have reigning HR champ and former Gold Glove Award Winner Fulton White

They have a great young trio of pitchers. Carter Yancey came into his own last season, but suffered a season ending injury. Colt Paterson has developed into a strong #1-#2, and former #1 pick Boone Fortune will be ready by next season to give the Vulcans a very strong 1-2-3 at the top of the rotation.

The Vulcans also have a few veteran hitters to give them a strong lineup. If you can take this team and land a solid pitcher for a fair price they cant again contend for the playoffs and turn into a perennial playoff contender as soon as next season.

Both are open teams have great pieces to build your dynasty around!!
