22 game winning streak, and then....

After starting the season 4-3, my team ran off an amazing 22 game winning streak.

Up 2-1 in the bottom of the 9th of what would have been Game 23, the baseball gods intervened:

That's two errors in one inning. Two runs score. Game over, Streak over. Ugh.

I didn't know this game had a "no, you're not going to win anymore!" code!

Sim league or played out? That's a pretty impressive win streak.

Played out every game. Including the mind-blowing 9th inning. I don't think I've ever been MAD when I played a game out. I just was now.

There was also a 20-inning game during the middle of the streak. Talk about stressful.

Had a 21 game win streak once...in spring training. Went 21-3 after losing the first three games! Lost the season opener to end it.

Everything ends. I had a 26-game streak a few versions back and then came the 27th game and suddenly the entire team pretty much forgot how to hit, and the few guys who actually got on base got erased. It was very frustrating.

But when you're riding the edges of chance and probability, sooner or later it is all going to catch up with you and it will all come crashing down.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
