How exactly do you get them to work? I have downloaded it, but I cna not seem to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.

they work just like any other roster set, you just export them to your STB folder

I did that, but then what do you do? Do you start a 2002 Career League? Or do you have to have a custom league?

2002 career I believe. Custom if you want a draft or whatever.

I would suggest using jrdoa's latest update of our set. I don't know where it's posted, but I think he fixed some of the bugs from the import problems we had.
