Yes. With due respect, I don't get those "game lags" threads.

It does lag a little bit for me but only when I'm simming a few days down the road. At least it did before I downloaded the beta for version 2. I'm going to probably start over with another season to see what happens, if it sims a little faster then.

Well again, my due respect to you. No one questions the validity of these issues but I am guessing that the usual explanation is either league size (or complexity) or computer issues. On the other hand, my league is young and I have an up-to-date laptop, so perhaps I over/understate the matter.

Yeah, it's early for me too. I just don't remember v14 being instantaneous when I click on sim to end of the day.. it's less than one second.

I can't say that it sims as fast for me at all. Seems slower than 14 for whatever reason sadly. IDC, it's not that much slower but I wish I could say it was faster

When I first got the game I loaded an MLB Quickstart not realizing it had all the international leagues attached and it did "seem" a bit slower but not real bad for me. However, once I started my fictional league with 24 teams (5 levels of minor leagues) the sim was instantaneous. With that being said, I don't sim large blocks of time all at once but usually daily. So far with my young league, I've been very happy with the speed.

I could post a video of it lagging if you'd like.
Oddly - it only lags when I(others?) use both INTL leagues and feeders. I can use a 30 feeder league in OOTP15 and it sims insanely fast (WAY faster then previous versions), but if you use INTL+Feeders... whoa boy. It hangs on that last game of the day forEVER. I timed it at 3:20.

I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong, or if anyone has seen this. I simmed a complete season tonight, and everything went really quick, until I got to the draft. The draft has taken about 3 times the time it took to sim from January 1st until the draft in October (and I'm still at 62%). The league was imported from 14, and has major league set-up with standard minor leagues with 25 rounds in the draft. I've never seen this before, and went through a draft just fine in another league. I'm wondering if there is something I did that would have caused this.

"Lag" for me is dependent on number of players. Full on MLB with all international leagues goes a bit slow but just the MLB and a few other leagues is fine. Just the MLB is super quick.

League size shouldn't be an issue in my case (16 team league with full minors and I let the game set up the feeder leagues (1 COL and 2 HS), nothing particularly large or unusual. I've tried it on 2 different PC (one win 8 and one win 7) and there is a difference based on the different configs of the 2 computers though the lagging is still there (as much at 4:35 per day). the same 2 computers handle v14 fine without significant lagging. Feeder leagues are responsible for my sim lag. I've ran test leagues with all international leagues enabled, and I get sims speeds of like 3-5 seconds per day, which is perfectly fine. When I enable a full feeder setup, I get sim speeds from 30 seconds to a minute per day. Once the feeder season is over, sim speed goes back to being great again. It's definitely not a computer issue for me, I can sim huge leagues will full feeders enabled in 14 and get great speeds. There seems to be an issue with feeder optimization in 15.

Apart from that, simulation speed in normal circumstances has been improved about 30% from OOTP 14, yes.

Apart from that issue, yeah, sim speed is ridiculously fast.

This is interesting. I don't have international leagues, just feeders. Things went fine until the amateur draft, which took 45 minutes, then things slowed down considerably for me and I began seeing a lag. The next amateur draft I ran took close to 50 minutes. I went ahead and disabled AI roster moves like you suggested, and everything as back to normal, and the third amateur draft ran in less than a minute. This was the only league I was experiencing this in, so thanks for the tip!
