Keeping the Astros in the NL

Is there a simple way to create a new game with all of the current majors/minors' team names and affiliations but keep Houston in the NL Central? meaning can I create a new MLB game, but edit the structure and move Houston back to the NL?

I decided not to use the forum schedule. I move Kansas City to the AL west and Milwaukee back into the AL Central. This give you 5 teams in each division. I then use GMO schedules. The schedules are in the mods. This works great.

So you were able to change the structure after creating a new MLB game? That's the part I'm trying to make sure of. I know I can create a new fictional game and set it up the way I want...just trying to be lazy and use the MLB format but move Houston back to the NL if I can without having to create templates and all that jazz.

After you create league go to Game>game settings>league settings>edit league structure>move team. Just remember to hit generate schedule after making changes.

Know if we had Inter League Play all year round then wouldn't have to generate a new Schedule.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who still has a lot of trouble psychologically accepting the fact that the Astros are now an AL team. Wish they just could've moved the Brewers back to the AL instead.

Also hate the new playoff format. hell, I wish they'd eliminate interleague play as well.

...needless to say, I play OOTP with "allow league evolution" disabled...

In the current MLB set up interleague play occurs by definition any time all 30 teams play. So except for some Mondays and Thursdays with short schedules interleague play occurs throughout the year.

The reason the schedule has to be regenerated is to preserve the correct divisional and inter-divisional matchups within each league when a team is moved from one league to the other and/or one division to the other.
