i say straight - in the interest of maintaining a competitive athmosphere, the bad teams should get the advantage...

If you were to a contraction or expansion draft, or initial draft - I would go snake. But ammy drafts I go straight becauseI don't think a team that wins 100 games should get the 28th and 29th picks (or however many teams you have). If a team gives up their farm system to win 100 games, they shouldn't be rewarded with depth in return. Especially in the early stages of a league, the first season or two where a team like KC and Detroit is usually picking in the top 5, and their farm system is just terrible and they need the depth.

I agree. Initial drafts I do a snake, but for ammies I do straight. Gives the bad teams better shots at the good players.

straight all of the way. In a lot of cases id rather have last pick, then a first pick in a snake draft. It would be possible to give the better teams even more of an advantage

ammy drafts have to be straight. snake drafts are even from front to back, which maintains the league status quo. bad teams are supposed to be able to uniquely improve themselves through the draft.
